Local version of the TV-format "True Talent", originally aired in Sweden. Three celebrity artists travel the country to discover incredible raw musical talents. These lucky few are then tutored and refined to be the best they can be. They then face the ultimate challenge: performing alone on stage. Three separate audiences, representing three different age groups, get to vote, but they cannot see the contestants. When more than half of any age group signals that they like what they hear, the audience pod rotates and the singer is revealed. The catch is - all 3 audiences must approve if the singer is to progress in the competition. True Talent is all that matters, and it is rewarded with a major cash prize.

VS岚是日本偶像组合岚（大野智、樱井翔、相叶雅纪、二宫和也、松本润）主持的演播室游戏综艺。岚5人和plus one嘉宾（岚事前不知道）组成岚队，与由5-7名艺人组成的嘉宾队进行游戏对决。

2008年から2020年まで放送されていた『VS嵐』の後継番組として、2021年1月3日から放送を開始する予定。 　　2020年12月をもって嵐が活動を休止することに伴い[3]、同月まで放送される予定の『VS嵐』の後続番組かつリニューアル版として開始し、「魂」を継承したもの[1]。同メンバーである相葉雅紀とレギュラーメンバーがゲストと様々なアトラクションゲームで対決する番組。なお、前番組のコンセプトはそのまま受け継がれ、新たなテイストが追加される。 　　前番組に続いて本番組でも企画・総合演出を担当するフジテレビ第2制作室の萬匠祐基は「12年半、ともに番組を築いてきた相葉さんと、新たなスタートを迎えると言うことで、とてもワクワクしております。対決、比較、挑戦…。『VS』という言葉の無限のカタチにチャレンジします」とコメントしている。 　　初回は2020年まで『VS嵐』新春スペシャルが放送されていた1月3日を引き継ぐ形で、2021年1月3日（日曜日）18:00 - 21:00（JST）に3時間スペシャルとした拡大版で放送される予定。（Wikipedia）
